Realistic ECPR Training
CARL SAM enables realistic user training through pulse palpation, simulated blood flow, and a choice of two perfusion modes:
Continuous mode simulates normal circulation. CPR mode analyzes the quality of chest compressions and translates this into the resulting circulation.

Cannulation Pads
Femoral puncture and cannulation can be performed using landmarks, palpation, or ultrasound. The pads consist of a tissue replica made of recyclable ballistic gelatin, a tube system adapted to the physiological conditions in the groin area, and a replica of the iliac and femoral bones.

Yes. CARL SAM is equipped with two Cannulation Pads for inserting cannulas into the large groin vessels (right and left) on one or both sides.
CARL SAM and all its components can be easily stored and transported in the accompanying flight case. Stay flexible and conduct resuscitation training at different locations.
The Cannulation Pad replacement process is designed to be as intuitive as possible and takes only 2 minutes. Used pads can be quickly replaced with fresh ones and sent in for reprocessing.
